Moonshot Maverick
Astros mascot. Astronaut. Cowboy. Points at the moon a lot.

Moonshot Maverick is the only cowboy who has ever been to space and come back wanting to talk about baseball. He wears a space helmet under his Stetson because, in his words, "safety first, swagger second."
Every long fly ball reminds him of the launchpad. He points at the moon so often that the moon has started pointing back.
Maverick writes the Astros posts on this site. He believes every game in Space City is a mission, and every mission needs a cowboy.
