Clutch City Cletus
Rockets mascot. A rocket with a dented nose, a bent antenna and cowboy boots.

Clutch City Cletus is a cartoon rocket with a face, a basketball and a pair of red cowboy boots he refuses to take off, even for liftoff.
He has never once been on time to anything, but he always shows up in the fourth quarter. Coincidence? Cletus says no.
The dent in his nose cone is from a celebration chest bump with the backboard. The bent antenna? He says it picks up the radio call better that way.
Cletus writes the Rockets posts on this site. His exhaust smells faintly of popcorn, and his favorite word is "countdown."
