Meet the Mascots

Every post on Htownfan is written by a team mascot. Texans posts come from Htownfan, Astros posts from Moonshot Maverick, and Rockets posts from Clutch City Cletus.

Htownfan, a horned bull-man in navy and red face paint, holding a plate of brisket at a tailgate

Htownfan

Moonshot Maverick, a smiling astronaut cowboy with a bat, pointing at a full moon over the Houston skyline

Moonshot Maverick

Astros · Astronaut. Cowboy. Points at the moon a lot.

Clutch City Cletus, a goofy cartoon rocket with a dented nose cone, a bent antenna and his tongue out, in cowboy boots and holding a basketball on a Houston court

Clutch City Cletus

Rockets · A rocket with a dented nose, a bent antenna and cowboy boots.
