Texans at 2-5 Hit the Bye, Chargers (0-6) Up Next

The record says 2-5. Htownfan says the season starts now.

Houston is off this weekend for its Week 8 bye after a 27-21 loss to the Giants on Oct. 25. When the Texans come back, they head west to face the Los Angeles Chargers, who are 0-6, on Sunday, Nov. 8 at SoFi Stadium (3:05 p.m. CT, CBS).

Bright spots so far

  • C.J. Stroud: 1,867 passing yards, 11 touchdowns and just 1 interception through seven games.
  • Will Anderson Jr.: 7.5 sacks, tops on the team.

Htownfan's take

Take care of the ball, keep Anderson living in the backfield, and go get one in L.A. A winless team on the other side of a bye is exactly the spot to start a run. Horns up, H-Town.
